Jesse B. Wright was raised in Miami, Florida in a blended Cuban, Spanish, and American family. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration in 2019. He joined the Association of Hispanic Alumni board to help give back to the University of Florida Hispanic community, which helped play an instrumental role in his development.

During his undergraduate time at the University of Florida he served as Executive Director of Hispanic Heritage Month (2007), Cabinet Chair of Student Government (2006), La Casita Embajador (2005-07), Membership Director of Hispanic Student Association (2005), founded Vuestra Alianza Española (2004-05), and Director of the inaugural Hispanic Student Association Member Leadership Program class (2004). Post-graduation he served in the University of Florida Alumni Association in various capacities from 2008-16 including as President of the Alamo City Gator Club (2011) and Gator Club of Miami (2014-15).

Professionally, Jesse spent 13+ years in local, regional, and national sales and management roles in the elevator industry with Otis Elevator and Schindler Elevator. In 2021 he joined Johnson Controls International as an Account Executive where he partners with public and private entities to co-design, fund, build, and guarantee infrastructure upgrades.

Jesse currently resides in Miami, Florida with his wife Laura, daughter Olivia, and son Jordi.
