Eduardo was born and raised to Cuban-American immigrant parents in Parkland, Florida. He earned his admittance to the University of Florida as a National Hispanic Scholar and led fundraising efforts for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) while in Gainesville.

Eduardo graduated from UF with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a minor in Business Administration, and currently works in South Florida as a structural engineer. He oversees building restorations and provides advisory on forensic engineering matters including catastrophe response and construction litigation. Beyond supporting South Florida’s building structures, Eduardo is passionate about uplifting South Floridian families through entrepreneurship.  He has worked in venture capital, where he focused on tech startups that deliver positive social impact to Florida. He has also led growth and marketing efforts as an independent strategy consultant for local soccer-based organizations.  Eduardo presently serves on multiple non-profit Boards and is working to accelerate entrepreneurship amongst minorities in the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) space.
