My name is Megan Casal and I am from Miami, Florida. I study architecture at the  University of Florida and just completed my second semester there. During my first semester at  the University of Florida, I excelled in all my classes, achieving all A’s that semester.  Additionally, my work during this semester was chosen by my professor to be featured in the  Architecture Gallery amongst the work of other peers as well. I aspire to acquire a Master’s in Architecture at the University of Florida. After I graduated with my master’s, I intend to work in  the architecture field and eventually become a licensed architect in the state of Florida. Seeing  that less than 25% of licensed architects are Hispanic or Latino, I hope to pave the way for other Hispanics or Latinos aspiring to become architects.
