My name is Franchesca Pichardo and I am a first generation, fourth-year Combined Degree Master’s student studying Information Systems and Operation Management. I am deeply committed to serving my community and empowering individuals, particularly within the Hispanic community, through meaningful initiatives and impactful projects. With a background in technology consulting, financial management, and marketing analysis, I bring a diverse skill set to my dedication to community service. In my role as a technology consultant at the University of Florida, I address hardware and software issues, ensuring accessibility to essential resources for over 65,000 individuals. Beyond my professional endeavors, I actively contribute to community service projects, emphasizing upliftment within the Hispanic community. As the Education Director at the University of Florida’s Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, I lead initiatives to increase student and tutor retention rates, organizing tailored events to meet the needs of Hispanic students. Additionally, as a Project Consultant Manager at the University of Florida’s Enactus Warrington College of Business, I foster community partnerships and promote social entrepreneurship, driving profitability while championing Hispanic values.
Outside of my professional and academic pursuits, I am deeply involved in community engagement and advocacy. Serving as an Executive Coordinator for the University of Florida’s Adelante Early Arrival Program, I organize inclusive events and resource awareness programs, leveraging my expertise to create meaningful experiences for a diverse audience. I am driven by a desire to create positive change and empower others to reach their full potential.
