She works for Education First, a national education and strategy firm, as a consultant where she supports foundations, state and local education agencies and nonprofits to design organizations and implement structures and processes centered on coherence and equity. During her time at the University of Florida, she served as the first Latina Student Body President where her administration successfully introduced diversity training for Executive Student Government officials, implemented gender-neutral restrooms, created the first Mental Health Awareness week, and launched the Gator Career Closet which provides students with access to professional wear. Prior to this role, she served as Treasurer and Vice President of Operations for the Hispanic Student Association, an ambassador for Hispanic-Latino Affairs, and was a member of the Sabor Latino Dance Team.
After graduating from UF in 2016 with a Bachelors in Political Science and International Studies in Latin America and the Caribbean, Joselin received a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in New York. When she’s not looking to make an impact in the education sector, you can catch Joselin reading, dancing or walking her dog Jai.
